Conference Objective

SMCA'2022 aims to bring together researchers, leading computer scientists, mathematicians and economists to share knowledge, present their novel ideas and discuss the future development of strategic or incentives modeling in computing applications. This conference also strives to provide an opportunity for young researchers, academicians, and practitioners with multidisciplinary interests to meet and interact with members across a range of disciplines.

  • Conference Theme

Advances in the Internet and allied technologies make it possible for geographically dispersed entities like mobile devices, sensors, IoT devices and software agents to interact. These entities offer numerous services for entities like end-users, organizations and businesses at the Internet edge. In this new computing paradigm, the entities are autonomous decision-makers (likely self-interested) who work together for their owners in a centralized or decentralized fashion to achieve their individual goals. Since such goals may not be socially desirable, it is important to model and analyze the interactions of multiple self-interested entities and provide design solutions to achieve overall system optima.

    Best Paper Award

The SMCA'2022 is planning to honour one best paper award and one runner-up award from all the submissions (submitted for online proceeding).

    Special Issue

Extended versions of the papers accepted and presented at SMCA'2022 will be invited for publication in a Special Issue of the International Game Theory Review dedicated to the conference on Strategic Models in Computing Applications (SMCA’2022). Note: submitted papers will be peer-reviewed in the same manner as any other submission to IGTR.
